Ruby class have been busy buying and selling fruit and vegetables in our greengrocer's role play area. They have been using observational drawing skills to make signs for customers, so they know what's on sale. The children have also been using their model-making skills to replenish their stock.
Reception children have had a fantastic visit to the local fire station as part of their 'People who help us' topic. They got up close with the fire engine and lots of the equipment and were able to ask important questions about life as a fire fighter.
A big thank you to the fire station and to all the parents who were able to come along and help us with this wonderful trip. Well done also to the children who all behaved beautifully!
Children across Key Stage 1 dressed up in yellow to raise money for Children in Need. Here's Ruby class with teacher Miss Saki. Across the school we managed to raise more than £100, which was brilliant!
