A Right Royal ‘Roof’ Tea Party

On Friday 27th May, to celebrate the unprecedented anniversary milestone of the Queen’s Platinum 70th Jubilee, children will be able to come to school ready for a royal party and dressed in their smartest attire.

Whether a princess dress, traditional clothing, national costume or in white, red and blue, the children are able to come dressed to impress.

Throughout the day, children will take part in a range of activities that have been carefully planned by their class teachers to understand and celebrate the milestone.

At lunchtime Jenny, our Catering Manager, has prepared a menu fit for royalty

It’s a Royal Wrap - (Fish Finger & Chip Wrap)

Queen’s Garden Wrap - (Vegetable Goujon & Chip Wrap)

Jewelled Vegetables - (Peas & Sweetcorn)

During the afternoon, staff will be hosting a Paxton ‘Tea’ Party. Children will be invited to the rooftop playground for an afternoon tea with scones, crown shaped shortcake biscuits, popcorn and of course music and party games galore.

If you would like to get involved and help us make it even more special, please join us to discuss ideas on Tuesday 24th at 9am.
