Year 4

Year 4

Year 4 represents the next step in the upper school learning journey and is where the children begin to develop a more complex understanding of the world that they live in. The staff facilitate a holistic and engaging approach to education that is collaborative, fun and inspiring. Children are encouraged and taught how to take more responsibility for their learning. In Year 4, the children focus on mastering key skills that will support their understanding throughout the final two years of their Primary School careers.

An important key skill is the mastering of multiplication facts, something that the children will be tested on in the Summer Term as part of the Department for Education's newly introduced, Multiplication Check.
